​​​​Apply to NCAS​​​

If you are applying for a licence in British Columbia, follow the steps below. Many of these steps can be done at the same time.

*In BC, the BC College of Nurses and Midwives (BCCNM) makes registration decisions about those applying to be licensed practical nurses, and those applying to be registered nurses.​
*BC Care Aide and Community Health Worker Registry makes registration decisions about those applying to be health care aides.


Here's how you apply to NCAS:

  1. ​To sign up with NCAS, create an online service account. ​When you select  Create Account, a message will pop up confirming that you've successfully created the account. You'll also automatically receive an NCAS ID number. See the image below.​MicrosoftTeams-image (3).png​​
  2. Download and fill out the NCAS App​lication Form. Finish ALL the fields on the form to complete your application.
  3. Upload the NCAS application form to your online services account. 
  4. After you upload your NCAS application, complete the checklist ​checklist ​steps. Many of these steps can be done at the same time.​
